TVS Qube is a hybrid scooter whose launch date has not yet been decided by the manufacturer. It features a 110 cc petrol engine combined with a 800W electric motor. The automatic scooter is said to be with drum brakes for both the wheels and tubeless tyres for better riding. The vehicle weighs only 114 kg, making it a lightweight and zippy scooter. The design speaks in the negative manner as it looks old and outdated. The expected price for this hybrid is INR 65,000 and its small electric motor seems more like an experiment than a real life usable entity. The concept requires many improvements and will surely take time for its launch.

TVS Jupiter is the best option out of both the scooters. The basic reason behind choosing TVS over Honda is the use of advanced technology in the TVS Jupiter. Honda Activa has a very refined engine and so do the TVS has, but the difference comes in the comfort options and looks of the scooter. TVS comes with front telescopic forks whereas the Activa 3G has the conventional outdated suspension. TVS Jupiter comes with 12 inch tyres and black alloy wheels whereas the Honda Activa 3G has only 10 inch tyres. Overall pricing of Jupiter is even lesser than that of Activa. Both have good power delivery, mileage and low maintenance, with TVS spare parts a bit costly than Honda's. TVS Jupiter wins clearly over the Activa 3G.

Both the bikes are best in every approach but when compared in terms of road safety and high top speed, the TVS Apache RTR 180 becomes a winner. No doubt in a short sprint, the CBR150R will be on the first place but when the chase becomes a bit longer, TVS with its high top speed than CBR150R will win. When it comes to safety, the TVS Apache RTR 180 comes with double disc brakes and ABS, making it much better in terms of braking power whereas the other one comes with double disc brakes without ABS. The prices have a huge difference in them, with the RTR at a price of INR 86,500 and the CBR150R at INR 1,23,370. The INR 35,000 difference is not fully justified by Honda and TVS RTR 180 proves better at the end.

TVS Apache 200 is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2015 (July-Sept). No hint has been given by TVS yet on its new bike as no spy image has been found for the same. The engine for the new RTR will be a 200 cc motor inspired from the short stroke Draken motor, producing quite a lot of power when compared to others in the segment. It is also said to be with a new and muscular appeal with side by side proper care for the safety of the rider. The BMW connection of TVS may help them with a better built quality for the future products but may lead to higher retail prices.
