How does the Honda Livo stand up to the build quality premium compared to less pricey options?
Honda Livo has a reputation among Honda motorcycles for their build quality and reliability (they are generally praised for the same). But it does have a higher price tag than some of the other 110cc commuters you can find in the market. It begs the question of value for money. The Livo's superior build quality and long-term reliability potential make it worth the extra cost. But for budget-conscious buyers, are they better off with cheaper alternatives that won’t last as long but cost a lot less upfront? Weigh in on this debate by factoring in why things like long-term maintenance costs, resale value, and overall ownership experience matter, etc.
As for myself, I think it’s overkill for a commuter. It's well built, yeah, but do you really need tank-like build quality to ride to work? Just the same, a cheaper bike will get you there.
