How does the claimed range of the Bajaj Chetak Premium compare with the real world range?

The range figures that electric vehicle manufacturers often advertise are often optimistic and don't necessarily reflect real life performance. Up to 95 km is the range promised by the Bajaj Chetak Premium on a single charge. So how does this stand in Indian riding conditions? Think about traffic, weather, how you ride, and the payload you are carrying. What is the range difference between Eco and Sport modes? Are there any tricks to getting the most range? But how does the real world range of Chetak Premium fare against other electric scooters in the same class? But this information is important for potential buyers to estimate if the Chetak can fit in their daily commute.

I've found that in real world conditions, you get about 70-75 km. Not bad, but certainly not as advertised 95 km.

In Eco mode I’m consistently getting 80-85 km. If you ride conservatively, it's pretty close to the claimed range.

Heavy traffic range tanks. On really bad days I’ve seen it drop to 60 km. It's frustrating.

The range killer is fun, but in sport mode. I use Eco daily and Sport when I need a quick burst.

Battery is decent, but I wish Bajaj had gone for a bit bigger battery. Ten or fifteen extra kilometers would be a big difference.

In winter I've found the range is pretty good, but noticeably drops in peak summer. The battery seems to be affected by the heat.

The Chetak Premium’s range is actually pretty accurate compared to other e scooters I have tried. Seeing realistic claims is refreshing.
