Mine is still looking great after a year. It holds up fine as long as you don't use any abrasive cleaners. But there's a few small chips, like any bike.

Honestly, it's not great. The side panels have every little scratch and the tank has some weird fading spots. I wish I’d gone with a glossy finish.

It's hit or miss. Some areas still appear perfect, but high wear areas such as near the fuel cap are glossing over. A lot of regular matte polish helps.

I've had mine solid for 2 years. Of course, the key here is to keep it clean and use a good matte protectant. It's not easy, but it's worth it for the one of a kind look.

The paint is fine but it's super unforgiving. On my friend’s glossy Classic 350, every little nick or scrape shows up way more.

I live in a hot, sunny area and after 18 months there's definitely some fading. But the black isn't as deep, particularly on the tank.

I've held it up surprisingly well. After purchase, I added a ceramic coating that has been a game changer, for protection and easy cleaning.

The Stealth Black holds its value better, in my experience. It's unique, it's interesting, and there is always someone out there looking for that murdered out look.

I tried to sell mine and it was more difficult than I imagined. It has a reputation for being a lot of maintenance, and some people love it, and some people can't stand it. It was harder to sell than my friend's standard color.

It's a double-edged sword. The paint really shows if it isn't in great condition, and if the uniqueness is a selling point, it can really hurt the value.

I think it depends on trends. It’s doing well, right now blacked out bikes are popular. That may change a few years from now.

It doesn't seem to make much difference either way in terms of value too. If people want it, they will pay for it, others will pass. It's pretty neutral.

It seems the resale value is fine, but there are fewer buyers to buy. You have to find somebody that’s looking for that style.

When I sold mine, I actually got a bit more. The trick is to keep it in good shape. The bonus, of course, is the unique look if you keep it in good condition.

You can definitely see it at night. I also stuck some reflective tape on the sides and back, which helps a lot. It kinda feels cool though, like you're in the shadows.

I honestly don’t notice much difference. Visibility isn't really affected, since the headlight and taillight are the same as other models. Under streetlights though it looks sick!

At night I feel less visible on the Stealth Black. Was started wearing high vis vest for extra safety. Low light is cool, but a little bit scary, the bike almost disappears.

This thing is awesome for night riding. When light hits the black, it absorbs the light instead of reflecting it, which reduces glare from oncoming headlights. Make sure that your lights work well.

It's a mixed bag. On dark roads it can be a bit too stealthy, but the bike looks incredible in city lights. For safety and style I added some extra LED lights.

In my experience no real difference. The colors don't matter much because modern lights are bright enough. Pulled up to the night meetup though, it does look badass.
