I mean, I guess just commute through the city honestly. It's so much fun to have the torque and agility even in mundane traffic.
What are the most common problems that owners have with the KTM 990 Super Duke R?

My biggest issue has been parts availability. The problem is that as these bikes age, OEM parts can be hard to find.
It is (obviously) quite old by super naked standards now, but how does the old KTM 990 Super Duke R really compare to the current super naked, the 1290 Super Duke R?

I’ve ridden both, and I have to say I prefer the 990. It's more engaging and more special. It’s almost too easy to ride the 1290 fast.
What changes do 990 Super Duke R owners make to improve performance or the ride?

The first thing I did was get rid of the stock exhaust and put on a full system. But it just wakes the bike up, and the sound is incredible.
Is the KTM 990 Super Duke R still useful in the current motorcycle world?

It's all about perspective. If you want the latest and greatest, get a new bike. If you don’t have a problem with mechanical purity and analog feedback, the 990 is still a gem.
