To be very honest, if you are really into modding, I honestly think you are better off saving your money for a higher end bike. Extensive mods can run up the cost of a bike easily to the extent the bike is worthless.

It’s actually better for highway use than some bigger bikes. It’s not heavy or cumbersome, it’s less tiring on long rides. It’s just a slower paced thing; you have to be okay with that.

It's perfect city riding for me. It has enough power to zip away from lights, not so much power that it’s difficult to control in tight quarters.

Ok, let’s be real, most of these so called “streetfighters” these days are just naked bikes with attitude. That's exactly the kind of phone the K300 SF is. With the look and enough performance to be fun without being intimidating, it's a winner.

The switchgear and controls are a bit flimsy compared to my friend’s Yamaha. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s something you notice if you’re coming from Japanese bikes.

Keeway Superlight 200 has not yet been launched in the country. The bike is expected to arrive through the DSK Benelli showroom and it may get a launch date on the upcoming auto expo 2106. It comes with a 197cc engine producing 12.73 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 14 NM @ 6,000 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed manual unit, making it good for a top speed of 115 kmph. The motorcycle gets a seat height of 730mm and not so friendly ground clearance of 120mm.

The Keeway Blackster can be launched at the Auto Expo next year. Benelli is currently focused on its mass production motorcycles like TNT 25 and upcoming TNT 15. The 250 cc, TNT 25 would launch this year and the other one may get its entry via the same auto expo route. Blackster gets a 248.9 cc engine producing 19.18 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 18.7 NM @ 5750 rpm. It may not get separate branding, increasing chances of it being called as Benelli Blackster in India. It gets 688 mm of seat height and comes with 140 mm of ground clearance. The Blackster is expected with a price tag of INR 1,75,000 and comes with a pure retro appeal.

Keeway has not launched any of its bike in India currently, but plans for the launch has been under full throttle and the brand would enter by the name DSK-Keeway. The Superlight is one of the two offerings by Keeway. The bike comes with a Classic design, resembling the old war era bikes. It comes with 197 cc, 1-cylinder motor producing 12.73 BHP and 14 NM of torque. The engine seems under powered for the bike with such a design but the actual weight of the bike is just 134 kg. The looks are rugged but it packs a lot of technology to it. The bike comes with tachometer and speedometer in two different round shaped console boxes. With 120 mm of seat height, the bike is low for the Indian road conditions and we expect it to be for INR 1,30,000.

The approximate mileage of Keeway Blackster 250i is 30 kmpl. The motorcycle will be powered by a twin-cylinder 250 cc motor, producing 19.18 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 18.7 NM @ 5750 rpm. The front of the bike has a 270 mm single disc brake whereas the rear disc brake measures 220 mm. Front tyre measure 110/90-16 whereas the rear tyre measures 120/90-16. The bike comes with a classic war inspired design and comes in a Matter Black shade for more attractive profile. It is expected to be launched in the last quarter of 2015, with an expected price tag of INR 1,75,000.
