I'd call it an adventure bike for the beginners. Light off-roading is fine, but if you’re going to be serious about adventure riding, you’ll want something with a bit more beef.

With a few mods like Rally Raid parts, it can be a pretty decent adventure bike. It’s more of a comfortable all-rounder stock.

I would worry about the KTM parts availability. With Honda, at least, you know you can locate parts anywhere in the world.

The Duke will probably have a more aggressive riding position than the Street Triple, which might be a deal breaker for some.
