Honda's PCX 125 has very little chances of launch in India in the current year. No clear cut segment for the Italian design scooters has delayed the launch as every brand is waiting for the other to create a competitive approach. PCX 125 comes with a 124.9 cc engine, producing 11.17 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 11.56 NM @ 6,000 rpm. The gearbox remains automatic and the scooter weighs 124 kg. The fuel tan capacity of 6.2 liters make it a city friendly vehicle, with a range of 225-250 km. It comes with a front 220 mm disc brake and rear gets drum brakes only. The scooter is expected with a price of INR 70,000.

Honda CB Hornet 160R was displayed at the Revfest and the expected date of its launch is said to be in the festive season. The bike is inspired from the Honda SFA-150 concept and comes with sharp and muscular designing. The fuel tank is chiseled and its cowls make it look more muscular. It comes with a rear disc brake and the wide wheels make it look more impressive. Most of the Honda offerings are commuter based whereas the Hornet gets a pure sport styling. It is expected with the same 160 cc engine as the Unicorn 160 and expected to be for a price tag of INR 80,000. It is expected to return a mileage of 45 kmpl if the engine remains the same.

No launch date for the Honda CB150R Streetfire has been announced by Honda till date. The Honda bikes to be launched soon are the CB Hornet 160R, the CBR150R and CBR 250R, that too with color updates only for the CBR siblings. The CB150R Streetfire would definitely make out late in the Indian market, most probably in the next year. The bike is powered by a 149.16 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected motor, producing 16.8 BHP and 13.8 NM of torque. It would be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and would comes with a 12 liter fuel tank. The bike comes with 276 mm disc brake for the front wheel and 220 mm for the rear. It is expected with a price tag of INR 1,00,000.

Othewise buy Saluto which is value for Money. I own it & its really worth buying this.

Looks are awesome for Saluto where as Shine looks outdated with its graphics.

Technical are good for Saluto for city commuting and even for long drives. Saluto is giving me good experience.

The power values of Shine are much better than Saluto's figures, making it more powerful and comfortable to ride. 2014 Honda CB Shine - Winner's Choice

Honda CB Hornet was showcased at the Revfest and is launch date has not yet been provided with full assurance. Honda will launch it near to the festive season, by which we can expect it in October. Even it can be launched in the last days of September. The bike comes with a different approach as most of the Honda bikes in the same segment are commuter focused. It comes with a wide rear tyre, sharp edged design and Honda's Eco technology for better performance and mileage. The bike is expected with the same engine as the Honda Unicorn 160 and expected with a price tag of INR 80,000. Its tail light is a major point of attraction as it is X shaped.

Both the models of Honda Dio and even most of the scooters in the Honda lineup has a seat height of 765 mm. The difference between the old Dio and the new one is that the ground clearance has been raised from 145 mm to 158 mm. The old one gets the 102 cc, 7 BHP engine whereas the new one comes with 109.2 cc engine, 8 BHP and 8.77 NM of torque. The Dio comes in impressive shades and now returns a mileage of 60 kmpl. The fuel tank capacity is 5.3 liters and the ride weighs 105 kg. The new Dio comes with a price tag of INR 47,887.

The engine produces 8.25 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 8.63 NM @ 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It gets a better ground clearance of 180 mm and a more attractive design from the Passion xPro. The bike comes with a price tag of INR 52,989-55,489 which includes a drum brake and disc brake model. It gets the styling elements from elder Honda family members.

The production of Honda Twister has been stopped and the only Twisters available would be the ones left in the showrooms for sale. Most of the dealers have cleared their inventories and this would mean very few chances of getting a new one. The better option would be the new Honda Livo, a successor to the Twister with better running dynamics and design. It comes with the same 109.19 cc engine as the Twister and also gets the same 4-speed transmission. The new things include a CB Trigger and Unicorn inspired design, better front design with a longer windshield and attractive new colors. It gets a price tag of INR 52,989-55,489.

The bike comes with a sport oriented design whereas all the Honda bikes of the segment are commuter based with lesser detail on the design factor. Hornet gets a sport oriented small exhaust, which normally is a long cylindrical unit in most of the bikes. The alloy wheel design is quiet impressive as all other get a 6 spoke simple alloy design. The bike is expected with the same engine as the Honda Unicorn 160, with little chances of it being a further tuned unit. Mileage figure would be totally dependent on the engine tuning and the expectations are close to 40-45 kmpl.

Both the bikes are from totally different riding styles, making them best for their respective needs. Honda CBR250R is a great tourer, with sport biking feel and comfortable driving experience. The bike weighs 167 kg, making it quiet heavy for a 249 cc bike but also favors high speed riding. The drawback comes in the form of less sharp cornering and turning facilities. On the other hand, the RC200, being a 199.5 cc bike is quiet responsive due to its lightweight and sport oriented design. It has nothing to do with touring as track is its favorite place of riding.
