When is Honda going to launch CB Hornet 160R in India?
02 January 2023 06:29
The CB Hornet 160R by Honda was unveiled at the Revfest and the official launch is expected to be in the festive season. Honda has entered a new segment of motorcycling with their Hornet 160R as no street sport bike was made by the company till date. They used to have commuter 150 cc bikes and the street segment mainly fell under Yamaha and Suzuki. The CB Hornet is expected with the same engine as the CB Unicorn 160 and the same is expected to be priced above the Unicorn, in order to maintain a stable market for both. It is backed up by a single disc brake for each wheel, which is missing in the Unicorn. Also, the bike comes with bigger rear wheel, a muscular and edgy design for its street presence. We expect the bike to be with a price tag of INR 80,000. The new X shaped tail light would also be a dominating factor as no other bikes comes with the same concept.
What are the exact tech specs of Honda CB Hornet 160R?
02 January 2023 06:29
The exact technical specifications of the Honda CB Hornet 160R has not been disclosed by the company. From its name, we expect the bike to be a sportier version of the new Unicorn 160, which is more like a commuter bike with a 160 cc engine. The Hornet 160R comes with a double disc brake arrangement, in which each wheel gets a disc brake. With Honda's CBS, the bike would be excellent at braking and the HET would lead to a better mileage for the bike. The 162.71 cc engine from the Unicorn 160 is expected to produce 14.5 BHP and 14.61 NM of torque from the CB Hornet. It is expected with a 5-speed gearbox and comes with a sharp and aggressive designing. The bike comes with a flat rear tyre for better looks and the X shaped tail light would surely be the center of attraction.
What is the top speed and mileage of this Honda CB Hornet 160R?
02 January 2023 06:29
The technical specifications of the bike has not yet been revealed and would not misguide you with some fake details by simply looking at the design of the bike. The most expected details for the CB Hornet 160R can be taken from the nearest sibling, the Unicorn 160. The expected engine being the 162.71 cc, 1-cylinder motor is expected to produce the same power figures, 14.5 BHP and 14.61 NM. The midship exhaust and the street bike look would be the all new feel from the Honda lineup as all the previous bikes are more commuter focused. The bike will get a rear disc brake and the tail light design is one of its kind. The chiseled tank makes it look better than many in the segment and we expect it to be priced for INR 80,000. The HET would make it a mileage friendly bike and the top speed would be disclosed at its time of launch.

It comes with a 109.19 cc motor, producing 8.25 BHP and 8.63 NM of torque. The bike comes with an optional disc brake for extra safety and style enhancement. I'm 5'4" and 55Kg weight, will Honda CBR250R suit me?
02 January 2023 06:28
The Honda CBR250R would not suit you to its best as it is a very heavy bike when compared to the others offering the same interest of riding. It comes with a kerb weight of 170 kg, making it a bad option for you. You should go for the best performance motorcycle of India from a long time span, the Yamaha R15. It comes with a kerb weight of 136 kg, making it light, fast and very good in terms of responsive cornering. It comes with a 149 cc engine, producing 16.8 BHP, which makes it fuel efficient also. It returns a 40 kmpl mileage and would suit you the best, saving INR 50,000 from the CBR250R cost. It comes with a tag of INR 1,14,241. Only top speed wont make it all as take both on a track and R15 would rule the game out.

Honda CBR250R or CBR150R? Which is suitable for long trips (monthly 1-3) and daily use!!??
02 January 2023 06:28
Honda CBR250R is a better option when considering daily use and long trips. The bike comes with excellent performance figures whereas the 150R lacks the punch of torque from its engine. The CBR250R will surely feel very good on long rides whereas the smaller engine requires continuous revving for the performance. This would spoil your long journey experience. Even in the cities, the regular gear changing can be avoided in the 250R. It produces 22.9 NM of torque and 26 BHP from its 249 cc motor. The bike rides awesome on high speeds and feels stable at 140 kmph. It comes with a price tag of INR 1,58,000.
