I am little bit confused among the 125cc bikes - Honda CB Shine and Yamaha Saluto?

Question

My budget is Rs 62000/- and daily run 30 km. Mileage point of view it looks good. I am little bit confused about the power & torque given in the technical literature. How they effect on my daily needs I don't know. Please help me in the selection of bike.

If you want to buy just for Brand sake, go for CB Shine.

Othewise buy Saluto which is value for Money. I own it & its really worth buying this.

Looks are awesome for Saluto where as Shine looks outdated with its graphics.

Technical are good for Saluto for city commuting and even for long drives. Saluto is giving me good experience.

The better bike for your budget and long term use is the Honda CB Shine. The bike comes with a 124.7 cc engine, producing 10.12 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.54 NM @ 5,500 rpm. The power values of Shine are much better than Saluto's figures, making it more powerful and comfortable to ride. More BHP makes your top speed more whereas more torque increases the weight carrying capacity. With these values, two persons on a bike can ride more smoothly than the Yamaha Saluto's values. Shine gets a 4-speed gearbox and comes with an option of CBS(Combi Braking System), making it more practical and safe to use. It comes with a price tag of INR 55,559.
