It is recommended to go to an authorized service center to get the 150/60 tyre installed at the rear of your Honda CBR250R. The 140/70 tyres are the standard size for this model and should be kept as such. The service center should be able to provide more information and answer any other questions you may have in regards to this issue.

As of now, there is no official update available from the brand's end on the launch of Honda CBR250R in India. However, as per the recent reports, Honda is likely to introduce the CBR250R in the market by 2023. The bike is likely to get a few updates in terms of styling and features. Performance-wise, the bike is likely to remain the same and may feature the same 250cc engine. It is expected to get a BS6 update as well. As for the pricing, the Honda CBR250R is expected to be priced around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Stay tuned for more updates.

The Honda CBR250RR is not yet available in the Indian markets. But it is expected to be available in India at a price of INR 3,50,000. However you can can buy Honda CBR250R variant in India anywhere in the range of INR 1,56,759 to 2,24,846. Honda CBR 250RR comes with a twin cylinder engine and Honda CBR 250R is a single cylinder engine bike. Both the bikes come with a 249 cc engine. The former is more powerful with a top speed of 178 kmph while Honda CBR250 R has a top speed of 145 kmph. If you want, you can wait for CBR250RR if you are willing to spend extra money on it.

The 250 cc engine on the HX250R is good for 31 BHP and its lightweight 139 kg of body makes it sure than it sprints better than Honda CBR250R, R15 and maybe 200 Duke. The things are different with the Ninja as it is a 2-cylinder 300 cc motorcycle with loads of more power than the the HX250R. It even costs more than double the expected price of INR 1,50,000 for the HX250R. It would carry the twin headlight design and support yellow halogen bulbs in both the lights.

The Honda CBR250R is offered by the company in non-ABS and ABS variants. The non ABS uses front and rear disc brakes while the one with ABS uses the same disc brakes with a host of sensors for calculating many precised values. The sensors are then attached to the brakes which are applied under a certain pressure so that the bike does not slip away or the tyre does not lock in the case of emergency braking. This makes it easy to go safely over uneven and wet surfaces where the normal brakes would lock the tyre and make the motorcycle slip. No, you cannot exchange a CBR250R for a CBR500R. Your best bet would be to sell the CBR250R (selling price will depend on year of purchase, variant, condition etc) and then go ahead and buy a CBR500R. The Honda CBR500R is amazing motorcycle, it is very powerful and can sprint from 0 to 100 KMPH in just 5.7 seconds.

Launch date details of the followings bikes are:
1-Hyosung GD250R: The GD250R is a full faired 250cc bike producing 28 bhp and 24 NM torque. No news regarding the bike's launch is out yet. However, some sources say it could be launched this year, or early next year.
2-Kawasaki Ninja 250SL: The Ninja 250SL is expected to be priced around INR 2 lacs. However, Kawasaki hasn't said anything about its launch date.
3-Honda CBR 250R(2016): Honda has no plans to launch the 2016 CBR 250R in India. It is focusing on bigger bikes.
4-KTM RC 250: The RC250 is a great bike, and can fill in the gap between the RC200 and the RC390, however the chances of the RC250 to launch in India are very low. We don't expect the bike to come out anytime soon.

The best bike serving all the above listed functions would be the Mahindra Mojo as it comes with a sensible price tag of INR 1,58,000 and performs really well for its actual value. It gets a 294.72 cc engine producing 26.82 BHP and 30 NM of torque. The values are excellent when compared to CBR250R but lacks the charms in front of the bigger Duke 390. The Duke is not an excellent choice for long rides due to its small fuel tank and aggressive riding position. The Mojo gets an outstanding 21 liter of fuel tank and cruises very easily on triple digit speeds. It gets exclusive Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 tyres and tackles every surface with its excellent front USD as well as rear monoshock suspension.

The CBR250R has various variants under its list. The one listed as 2016 is the international version of CBR250R and comes with a totally different design than the current CBR250R available in India. The bike comes with twin headlight front fascia and improves the overall power output of the bike. It produces a max of 28.6 BHP and 23 NM of torque. It was expected to be launched on the Revfest but Honda just launched the new shade for the old design motorcycle. The 2015 update for the CBR250R (new shades only) will be available from December whereas the totally new version would make its way in the year 2016.

On the other hand, the RC200, being a 199.5 cc bike is quiet responsive due to its lightweight and sport oriented design. It has nothing to do with touring as track is its favorite place of riding.
