What is the exact launch date of Hero HX250R and on-road price in Pune?

Hero MotoCorp has not given an exact date for the launch of the new Hero HX250R but it is expected to be within the market by June 2015. Also it has been priced between INR 1,30,000-1,50,000. The on road price in Pune would be around INR 12000 above the price of the bike.

The new Hero Glamour has been priced at INR 55925 for the drum brake version and INR 57925 for the disc brake version. The on road price will vary from the place you belong to and with the charge over the registration in your area. It has a fuel tank of 13.6 ltrs and it returns a mileage of 55 kmpl. It is also available in fuel injection version for around INR 63,600.

Honda Unicorn 160 and Hero Xtreme has always been against each other when it comes to performance competition. Both the bikes have a lean and muscular design. The built quality of Honda CB Unicorn 160 is much better to that of the Hero Xtreme. No doubt, the Xtreme has 0.7 BHP of advantage over the Unicorn, the Unicorn wins in all other aspects. It returns a better mileage and torque value than the Xtreme. Company claims the mileage to be 62 kmpl. The maintenance cost of both the bikes remain equal, with an advantage of lower ex-showroom price for the Unicorn 160.

You can easily go for Suzuki without any doubt. Hero Xtreme is 10 kgms heavier than the Gixxer so u will have better power to weight ratio on the Gixxer. The styling is far better than the xtreme as it looks outdated today. You will have tubeless tyres as standard on the Gixxer and it can outrun most of the 150s on 0-80 sprint. So all in all....go for Gixxer...

Suzuki Gixxer SF will be a fully faired motorcycle with much better looks than the Hero Xtreme sports. With nearly equal performance specifications Gixxer SF has a lesser seat height than Xtreme sports and has wider tyres for more road grip. The Xtreme sports has a double disc optional Model which makes it more brake efficient than the Gixxer SF. Gixxer SF would be more easy to ride vehicle whereas the Xtreme seems to be more efficient in terms of fuel and braking.
