It's more unforgiving than dangerous, I'd say. If you make a mistake in a Civic, you might spin. In a Viper, make a mistake and you’re in the wall. Big difference.

People exaggerate. I drove a Gen 2 for years daily with zero issues. Turn off the traction control unless you know what you're doing, but you'll be fine otherwise.

There's no way, the Viper's whole identity is that massive hood with the engine in front. It would just make it some generic supercar going mid engine.

If it were done right, I think it could work. Don't get rid of the V10, maybe make it a hybrid, but put it behind the driver. America could be as simple as the Ferrari SF90.

The Viper has always been about being different. If everyone's going mid engine, maybe you go to the other side and you make it just as extreme as you possibly can front engine. Like a modern Cobra Daytona.

I'd rather they concentrate on turning the Challenger into a real sports car. The Viper had its time, and it should be at peace.

It would be cool if they did have it mid engine, but only if they keep it raw and analog. There’s no dual-clutch, no turbos, just a screaming NA V10, and a manual. Then I'm on board.

Why not both? For the purists make a front engine Viper and a mid engine version to compete with the Corvette. Best of both worlds.

The Viper was always in excess. Make it mid engine but with a V16. That's what Vipers do, go big or go home.
