It's nice, but not at Audi or Mercedes level. Still some hard plastics where you wouldn’t expect to see them at this price point.

It’s a fantastic design, very futuristic. I’m worried about long term durability though, and with all the touch sensitive controls.

The Sealion 7’s interior feels much more premium coming from a Tesla. The physical buttons for climate control are wonderful and there’s a massive difference in build quality.

It's a mixed bag. Front seats are very comfortable, but rear bench gets a bit flatter for long trips.

It's cool ambient lighting but it feels a bit gimmicky. I would rather they spent that money on better sound insulation.

If you've test driven a lot of EVs like me, the Sealion 7's interior is definitely competitive for its price range. It's not top of the class, but it’s certainly not disappointing.

Both have been test driven by me, and I have to admit I was surprised by the Sealion 7. It feels more solid than the Model Y, and that rotating screen is actually pretty cool in real life. Tesla's software, and Autopilot, are still leagues ahead though.

The Supercharger network is Tesla’s killer feature, let’s be real. They’ll always be playing catch-up until they can build that infrastructure until BYD can.

The Sealion 7 is, I think, a serious contender. Battery tech from BYD is top notch and they’re innovating faster than Tesla these days. That price point is hard to ignore, too.

As a Model Y owner, I am quite impressed by the Sealion 7’s specs but I am not sure that it can compete overall with the Tesla experience. Over the air and the ecosystem is what's game changing.

Brand loyalty is a powerful thing. Despite how good the Sealion 7 is on paper, Tesla has a cult following that BYD will struggle to replicate.

On highways the lane keeping on my Seal works great, but on poorly marked roads it struggles. At the price, it’s impressive though.

They were way too sensitive so I had to turn off most of the alerts. They'll hopefully improve it with updates.

It’s smooth adaptive cruise control, but the lane centering gets away with me. Although, it's good enough for me.

I’ve driven a Tesla and the Seal and honestly, for everyday use, I cannot tell much difference in the ADAS performance.
