For me, the deal breaker is the alloy wheels. You need spoked wheels for off road durability for a true ADV. It just looks like a poser bike.

You're both missing the point. This is not a hardcore off roader. This is the guy who wants to look cool commuting and hit a dirt road on weekends.

That it's not trying too hard to be a mini-ADV is actually something I like about it. A lot of people who are intimated by full size adventure bikes, might find the mix of styles appealing.

The styling is clever marketing. That will lure in young buyers who want something different from the usual 125cc commuters but don't want to pay ADV prices.

Styling is secondary as long as it’s comfortable and practical. However, I believe Bajaj have got the look right for their target market.

I'm sure it'll gain new fans, but it won't lose the old ones. Evolution of RE is required to remain relevant.

I'm afraid the RE brand will get diluted. If they can't make them well, then they should stick to what they do best - simple, classic bikes.

It’s a smart move to include modern features. In order to continue to be relevant, RE needs to evolve while still not irking the core fanbase, which should attract the younger riders.

This worries me because it will lose that classic RE charm. The simplicity was part of the appeal. Don't have too many electronics or you'll ruin the experience.

RE could really use these features. On one hand, they can continue to keep making classic models for purists, but the Roadster must compete with modern bikes.

I hope they don’t go overboard, but the tech is great. Perfect would be a balance between modern features and simple classic.

While the modern features are icing on the cake, as long as the bike still has that RE character, I am fine with it. It's the best of both worlds.
