What will the Pulsar Adventure bike’s styling do to its target audience?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Bajaj has always been bold with design choices, and the Pulsar Adventure seems to follow suit. The spy shots show a blend of traditional ADV traits, like a tall windscreen and high exhaust mount, but also more street focused elements, such as alloy wheels and what looks to be street oriented tires. A hybrid approach to styling could be a clever way to reach a wider audience than either of those two camps, but it could also alienate purists from the ADV and street bike camps. Bajaj's design choices here could make a huge difference in who buys this bike, and how it is perceived in the market.

Styling is secondary as long as it’s comfortable and practical. However, I believe Bajaj have got the look right for their target market.

I am scared it will look like a confused mess. Jack of all trades, master of none kind of situation.

The styling is clever marketing. That will lure in young buyers who want something different from the usual 125cc commuters but don't want to pay ADV prices.

That it's not trying too hard to be a mini-ADV is actually something I like about it. A lot of people who are intimated by full size adventure bikes, might find the mix of styles appealing.

You're both missing the point. This is not a hardcore off roader. This is the guy who wants to look cool commuting and hit a dirt road on weekends.

For me, the deal breaker is the alloy wheels. You need spoked wheels for off road durability for a true ADV. It just looks like a poser bike.

The styling is right on for the urban adventurer, I think. It’s rugged enough to turn heads, but not so extreme that it’ll scare off newbies.
