Our take on this /// Verdict
The Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo is a compelling option for those seeking a sporty and responsive driving experience in the hatchback segment. With the 1.5-litre petrol engine borrowed from the Etios sedan, this variant offers a significant boost in power and torque, making it a pleasure to drive, especially in city conditions. The cars low-end torque and linear power delivery make it quick off the mark, and the five-speed gearbox with light, short throws enhances the driving experience. However, the body kit, while adding a sporty touch, doesnt fully integrate with the overall design. The interior, with its black theme and adjustable seating, is comfortable, though the steering could be more weighted. Overall, its a great choice for those who value performance and reliability, but may not be the best fit for those seeking premium features or modern styling.
Price
The Toyota Etios Liva TRD Sportivo was priced around Rs 6,11,833 ex-showroom when it was available. On-road prices would vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you could expect to add another Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 to the ex-showroom price. While this pricing is from the time of its release, it gives an idea of the value proposition this car offered. For its segment, the price was competitive, especially considering the enhanced performance and sporty features it brought to the table. However, its important to note that this model is no longer in production, so current pricing would be relevant only for used car markets.

Toyota Etios Diesel TRD Sportivo Discussion
mileage poor resalevalue not good
just saw the new ad of this car....Virat kholi....looks really stormy
I have been having Etios VD for last one year.
The Etios vd is an ordinary car. it highly overpriced by Toyota. All comparative cars a few lakhs less expensive. its sohc engine is atleast a generation back from its contemporaries.
During driving steering control is better and gives a pleasurable sensation but the cabin is too noisy. the noise of engine and outside spoils the music from its last generation cd player.
The biggest blunder the company makes is the claim about its mileage. The company claims it near or more than 23 km/lit but it is never more than 18 km/lit.
this car is not worth the value the company demands for it. it has almost nil resale value. people feel cheated after its purchase.
