SSC Tuatara Updates

The SSC Tuatara has once again pushed the boundaries of speed, surpassing its own top speed record by achieving an impressive 295 MPH. This feat was accomplished during a recent test run, solidifying the Tuataras position as one of the fastest production cars in the world. I think this is a remarkable achievement that showcases the engineering prowess of SSC North America.

Following controversy over an allegedly fake record video, SSC took the Tuatara out for another test run to validate its performance. Although it fell short of its previous record, the 1,750-hp hypercar still impressed with its incredible speed and handling. I believe this transparency is crucial for maintaining credibility in the automotive world.

On January 17, 2021, the SSC Tuatara set a new record for the fastest production car, averaging 282.9 MPH over 2.5 miles at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This achievement was a significant milestone for SSC North America, highlighting the cars aerodynamic design inspired by American aerospace technology. The Tuataras performance is truly awe-inspiring.
