Monday, 15 December 2008 07:30 PM The X-Type was notable for being the first Jaguar to use a front-wheel drive layout, which was a departure from the traditional rear-wheel drive configuration of most Jaguar models. I think this was an interesting experiment, but it didnt quite align with Jaguars brand image.
