In 2011, Hyundai emphasized the safety features of the i20, including airbags, ABS, and impact-sensing auto door unlock. These features were highlighted in various campaigns to reassure customers about the cars safety credentials. The focus on safety helped build trust among potential buyers. Towards the end of 2011, Hyundai made some price adjustments to the i20, making it more competitive in the market. The price tweaks were aimed at maintaining the cars market share amidst increasing competition from other hatchback models. The adjustments were well-received by customers, helping the i20 remain a top choice. I think this was a smart move by Hyundai to stay ahead.

In the latter part of 2011, Hyundai introduced new variants of the i20, including the Asta and Sportz models. These variants offered additional features such as alloy wheels, leather seats, and advanced safety features, further enhancing the cars appeal. The introduction of these variants helped Hyundai cater to a wider range of customers. I believe this move was strategic and well-timed.
