Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) Updates

The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) is known for its 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, which offers 100PS or 125PS, providing better fuel economy and more low-down power for overtaking. This engine is a significant selling point for those who prioritize fuel efficiency and performance. I believe this engine choice is a strong contender in its segment.

Despite its age, the Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) remains fun to drive, especially in urban settings, thanks to its nimbleness and precise controls. The vehicles heavy steering provides good feedback, making it enjoyable to handle in tight corners.

Ford Indias decision to exit the Indian market has raised questions about the future of the EcoSport, including the Titanium+ (Diesel) variant. While production has stopped, existing models are still available in the market, and owners can expect continued support for service and parts. I think this is a significant development that will impact the resale value and long-term ownership experience of the vehicle.

The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) is priced around Rs. 11.39 lakh, making it a competitive option in the subcompact SUV segment. This pricing, combined with its features and performance, makes it a viable choice for those looking for a reliable and efficient vehicle.

The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) has a boot space that, while not the largest in its class, includes an adjustable floor as standard. However, the protruding rear bumper can make loading heavy luggage a bit cumbersome. This is something potential buyers should consider if they often need to carry bulky items.

In terms of features, the Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) includes half-leather seats, a front centre armrest, and mood lighting, enhancing the interior comfort and ambiance. These features make the vehicle more appealing to buyers looking for a premium feel in a subcompact SUV.

The Titanium+ variant of the Ford EcoSport comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, which has a reasonably positive shift, making it undemanding to use. However, some drivers might find the heavy clutch tiresome. This transmission is well-suited for the diesel engine, offering a balanced driving experience.

Ford India launched the EcoSport Thunder Edition, which includes cosmetic and feature upgrades. Although not exclusively for the Titanium+ variant, this edition signifies Fords strategy to keep the EcoSport relevant in a competitive market. The Thunder Edition is priced at Rs. 10.68 lakh for the diesel version.

The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) has been spotted testing with new design elements, including updated DRLs and alloy wheels. These changes are expected to be part of a facelift aimed at refreshing the vehicles appearance and appeal. This could make the EcoSport look more contemporary and appealing to potential buyers.

Ford India has updated the Titanium and Titanium+ variants of the Ford EcoSport with a new instrument cluster, enhancing the vehicles interior and user experience. This update is part of Fords efforts to keep the EcoSport competitive in the subcompact SUV market. I think this is a positive move, as it adds a touch of modernity to the vehicle.
