Ford has recalled nearly 140,000 Ford EcoSport SUVs, including those with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, due to issues with the engine oil pumps drive belt tensioner. This recall aims to fix problems that could cause the engine to lose oil pressure, leading to power loss and braking issues. Its good that Ford is addressing this critical issue proactively.

The 2022 model year marked the end of production for the Ford EcoSport in India, as Ford announced it would cease manufacturing vehicles in the country. The last models came with all-wheel drive and a non-turbo four-cylinder engine. Its sad to see the EcoSport go, but it had a good run.
