Ferrari has officially unveiled the successor to the LaFerrari, known internally as the F250, on October 17. Spy images captured in July revealed the LaFerrari successor, codenamed F250, testing in Maranello. The car features a flat nose section with active flaps, a large active wing, and a rear fascia with slim LED taillights and a large diffuser. The F250 is expected to use a modified version of Ferraris twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, potentially producing over 1000 horsepower. I think the use of active aerodynamics will give this car an edge on the track.

Ferrari vice-chairman Piero Ferrari confirmed in June that a LaFerrari successor is on the way, following the companys tradition of launching a flagship hypercar every decade. The new car is speculated to use technology from the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P, including a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and electric motors. This could push the power output into the four-digit range. Im excited to see how Ferrari integrates this racing technology into a road car.

A leaked document from Ferrari in 2022 revealed that the LaFerrari successor would debut in October 2024, followed by a hardcore track variant in July 2026 and a spider version in 2027. Only 599 models of the standard version, 30 of the track version, and 199 of the spider version are planned. This limited production will make the car highly exclusive. I think the exclusivity will add to the cars allure among collectors.
