Has the GT-R’s AWD system been left in the dust by other cars, or is it still impressive?

The AWD on the GT-R is still fantastic. It may not have the fancy torque vectoring of newer systems, but it just gets the job done. It’s mind blowing still the way it puts power down.
Is the GT R’s interior a deal breaker in 2025 or has it aged well?
06 January 2025 07:52
The GT-R's interior, I actually like. It's not a luxury car trying to be a luxury car, it's a driver's car. It's built to last and everything is where it should be. Giant iPad stuck to the dash? Who needs that?
Is the GT R still a tuner’s dream in 2025, or are there better platforms?
06 January 2025 07:52
It depends on your goals. If you are looking to build a 1000+ hp monster, the GT-R is still one of the best platforms to build on. For a more modest build however, there are better options that won’t break the bank.
Has the time for the Nissan GT R come and gone in 2025 or is it still worth buying?
06 January 2025 07:52
Certainly the GT-R is showing its age, but that's part of its charm. It’s one of the few remaining ‘old school’ supercars that doesn’t feel like a video game to drive. If you are willing to sacrifice some modern conveniences but want something with character, go for it.
Why does the GT-R have transmission clunks and noises? Feature or flaw?
06 January 2025 07:52
I think it's a bit of both. The noises are part of the GT R's character, but they could've done a little more with it over the years. I can see why some people might find it annoying, but it doesn’t bother me.
