Is the GT R’s interior a deal breaker in 2025 or has it aged well?

Interior has always been a sticking point for the Nissan GT-R since the car's introduction. It has been updated over time, including a major refresh in 2017, but many now argue it still doesn’t offer enough for a car of its price. Many of the GT-R's competitors have dated infotainment systems, the quality of some materials, and an overall design that the GT-R lags behind, critics point out. The car's defenders point to its functional and driver focused interior over the luxury of other versions. The debate is whether the GT R's performance and driving experience make up for the shortcomings of its interior, or whether the dated cabin is such a drawback in a market that offers up cutting edge performance, as well as luxurious tech filled interiors. It often comes to debate when talking about the GT-R against the newer competition, or when thinking about it as a daily driver.

The interior is definitely old, but not a deal breaker. It's functional, and you're buying a GT-R because it's a car you want to drive, not one to coddle you with luxury.
