The Audi TT has officially been discontinued, marking the end of its 25-year run. The final models were produced in late 2023, and there are no plans for a direct successor as Audi shifts its focus to electric vehicles. This move is part of Audis broader strategy to transition to more sustainable options. I think this is a significant milestone, but its also a bit sad to see such an iconic car go.

In its final year, the Audi TT received a special Final Edition trim, which came with unique features such as red stitching, an Alcantara steering wheel, and red inserts on the air vents and centre console. This edition was a nod to the cars heritage and design. I believe these special touches made the Final Edition a compelling choice for collectors.

In 2014, the third generation of the Audi TT was launched, featuring a more sporty and dynamic design compared to its predecessors. It came with a range of petrol engines, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and standard all-wheel drive. The new TT also included advanced technology like the Audi virtual cockpit. I believe this generation was a significant improvement over the previous models.

The Audi TTs design has always been a standout feature, with its Bauhaus style and sleek lines making it a head-turner. However, reviewers noted that while it looked great, it didnt quite live up to its sports car moniker in terms of driving experience. Despite this, the TT remained popular for its style and comfort. I think its design was one of its strongest points.

The 2014 Audi TT was praised for its improved driving experience compared to earlier models. It featured progressive steering, four-link rear suspension, and Electronic Stabilization Control (ESC), making it more dynamic and precise on the road. The car also came with various driver assistance systems to enhance safety. I believe these improvements made the TT a more enjoyable drive.

One of the notable features of the 2014 Audi TT was its high-tech interior, including the Audi virtual cockpit and the option for a Bang & Olufsen Sound System. The car also supported wireless phone charging and had illuminated USB ports. These features made the TT feel modern and connected. I think the tech integration was well done.

The Audi TT was available in both coupe and roadster body styles, each with its own unique appeal. The roadster featured a soft top that could be opened or closed in just 10 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 31 mph. This made it a versatile option for different driving preferences. I believe the roadster was a great choice for those who loved open-top driving.

The 2014 Audi TT had a range of engine options, including a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with different power outputs. The more powerful models came with Audis Quattro four-wheel-drive system, which enhanced performance and stability. This made the TT a fun and capable car on various road conditions. I think the engine options were well-suited to the cars character.
