Yamaha User Reviews - Page 9

It’s look is sporty and at the same time, classic also. In one word, it’s a decent looking bike. It suites the teenagers, as well as the professionals even the middle aged people also. Upto 60 kmph, the motorcycle takes time, but post 60 kmph, it crushes upto 90 kmph in no time, but again, it takes a good amount of time to cross 100 kmph mark. Telescopic fork type front suspension and Swing arm type rear suspensions work just fine. The pillion rider also feels as comfortable as the driver. Now let's come to the drawbacks. The horns are little bit poor, it should be made louder. The headlamp sometimes look poor at night, specially, in highways.

Best Features: Economical & Fuel Efficient

Pros: Economical, attractive design, fuel efficient, comfortability

Cons: No engine kill switch, no pass indicator, no instant pick-up, weak horns and headlight, no kick start

My experience of having Yamaha RX100 was not satisfactory. Look wise, it is not attractive but overall the body structure is such that one can ride it comfortably and cornering is really good. It is light in weight so I never feel any handling problem. The build quality is excellent, engine is superb and components are available throughout country. The bike needs no maintenance apart from servicing and usual oil changes. The braking system is not up to the mark. The mileage is also not good and this bike is quite uncomfortable while having long tours. The bike starts shaking if we run it at a high speed.

Best Features: Build Quality & Pickup

Pros: Pickup, lightweight, reliable, build quality, low maintenance

Cons: Poor braking, unstable at high speeds, vintage looks, bad mileage, not comfortable for long rides

Yamaha Fascino is a very stylish and good looking scooter and I found it to quite good and very comfortable to ride. So I went to give it a test drive. Due to light weight and blue core engine, it is claimed to give 66 kmpl of mileage. The under bone frame type Fascino is well fitted with good braking and suspension technology which ensures better road performance. Apart from this, it is a low cost scooter which carries safety features like high vision headlamp, tail light, drum brakes (front and rear) and drum brakes (front and rear). Overall it is a good scooter with no flaws at all.

Best Features: Lightweight & Retro Looks

Pros: Retro looks, high build quality, good value for money, safety handling, fuel efficient, lightweight, effective braking system

Cons: No Negative Points

I have a 9 years troublefree riding experience on Crux. It is an economic commuter bike and in my 9 years journey with bike, I never faced any problem. It returns me a mileage around 70-80 kmpl. You can also say it a maintenance free motorcycle. Till now, i just replaced its tyres and air-cleaner components. The only drawback i can say it have is its looks. So, if you are looking for economical and tough bike it can be good option for you.

The day I got my VMAX I fall in love with it every time I go for a ride. The rider position is comfortable which makes it easy to handle the machine. It is a great combination of engine performance and muscular design which makes it seem like it is going for a kill even when standing still. I feel proud when my VMAX attracts people's attention on the road. It is very smooth to ride motorcycle. So, If you are looking for fuel efficient bike, this is not the option for you.

Few days back, I bought this bike which I find quite good for daily commuting. Its maintenance cost is low which saves my money to some extent. Looks wise it is not so attractive but not bad also. Great aspect of this bike is its low pricing. The fuel economy figures of around 84 km/l in cities and 88 km/l in highways prove to be awesome ones. Seat is comfortable so no need to worry about back ache. The longer wheelbase does bring into equation stability at high speeds and around corners. The handling power of Crux is awesome which will helps you to enjoy long rides comfortably. The bike also lacks in some spheres like it has no front disc, switch gear quality is poor and most importantly it does not have electric start option, only self start is there.

Best Features: Economical & Comfy Ergonomics

Pros: Longer wheelbase, comfy seat and ergonomics, exceptional ride quality and handling, low kerb weight, economical

Cons: No front disc, poor quality of switch gear, no electric start, double cradle frame, prone to frequent gear shifts

It is a muscular machine which is blessed with a bigger fuel tank capacity of 15 litres. In addition, its reserve fuel tank capacity is 6 litres. The looks are very appealing and can easily attract other person's attention easily. The acceleration is noteworthy as this cruiser can easily cover 100 kmph distance in just 2.70 seconds. The braking system has been improved as compared to previous model. One of the few disadvantages of this cruiser is that the driver seat is not comfortable. It has separate driver and pillion seat. On the other hand, the machine is very costly which is definitely not a cup of tea of every person.

Best Features: Excellent Acceleration & Stunning Looks

Pros: Stunning looks, sharp handling, good pickup, strong performance, excellent acceleration, improved braking system

Cons: High price, uncomfortable driving seat, tank-mounted LCD console is hard to see when driving

I just bought this scooter 2 weeks back, I bought it solely for its looks and surely won't disappoint with that, but otherwise it is just an average scooter. So far the mileage I get is just around 30 kmpl, but I assume that should increase after the first servicing. The sitting is like most of the bike scooters uncomfortable, my back ache's in just 30 minutes of ride even on highways. The built quality isn't all that great, it is all plastic and fiber but for the given price I would not complain specially with the looks the scooter has got. The handling though the scooter has is amazing..I have tried all the scooters but no one feels so secured when driving like this one .. it feels like a bike..while other scooters there is always a feeling if you are a bike rider that you might just slip off .. but this drives and handles like a bike

Best Features: Balancing is good compared to other scooters

Pros: The looks are amazing .. long seat and good space below the seat, good balancing

Cons: Built quality isn't that great, very basic instrument cluster, mirror gets loose all the time

This bike has a lot of features to sort out. I would like to share some of the major features of this wonderful machine and I can easily conclude that it has a very bold and macho look, the shape of the head light and fuel tank are quite appealing, it’s a bit muscular than the other typical beasts seen on the road. The total outlook of the bike has been inspired from “YAMAHA FZ1”. The combination of wide radial tyres with the mono cross suspension will offer you a total comfort on the rough road conditions. The powerful engine will prove itself to you in each and every throttle. While you are riding the bike in the top gear and the forceful wind passes by you, the aerodynamic shape of the bike will let you know that you’re totally in the comfort zone no matter what the speed is.

Best Features: Stylish Machine With Good Fuel Tank Capacity

Pros: Stylish, Amazing caliper discs and twin piston, balanced engine sound, good fuel tank capacity, good handling, availability of both self and kick start options, broad & tubeless radial tires

Cons: Expensive parts and mostly not available, lacks clock and dual trip meter, toyish dashboard, uncomfortable pillion seat, costly

In my biking career of 8 years, I haven't experienced the fun of riding bikes which I got from FZ16. I love this bike as it is gook for riding, better for control, best for stunting so I refer all you guys to have at least one test drive of this perfect machine though its not good in mileage but its only the machine perfect for the man. The looks are great and specifically it is a good value for money. The engine is powerful and has fat rear tyres which is perfect for rough roads. The rear mono cross suspension is good to absorb shocks. As far as downside is concerned, there is no storage space for keeping any kind of stuff.

Best Features: Powerful Engine & Stunning Looks

Pros: Stunning looks, good pick-up, value for money, powerful engine, fat rear tyres, good build quality, comfortable seating position, great riding comfort

Cons: No storage space, non-availability of battery indicator, toyish dashboard with full digital stuff

I own this bike from 5 months and believe me except the looks & tyres, I don't find anything satisfactory in this bike. It doesn't have Kick which irritates me very often. The fuel indicator also shows incorrect figure and there is an overheating problem in the engine. The mileage is the another important issue of this bike, I am getting fuel mileage of 34 in city which is very less as compare to my friend's 150cc bikes. I recommend this bike to all those who have a flexible budget.

Best Features: Stunning Look and Appearance

Pros: Performance, Dynamics, Tyres

Cons: LED tail light missing, Reduction in power (not performance), Missing rear disc, No Kick Start

I bought this bike in 2014. The main thing i like about my bike is its manly looks. Yeah that's the very major aspect too which attracts me. After taking first ride, I become fan of Yamaha engines as it was beyond my expectations. But yes its dim headlights troubled me a lot initially which I replaced later with height intensity lights as it is quite risky to take on highways in night time. Apart from this, its pillion seat is a big drawback as my girlfriend always complain about back pain. So I recommend you to check the pillion seat if it will be comfortable for your loved ones or not.

Bought this bike ... mileage is near about 60 kmpl in city. Very strongly built, light weight and very comfortable to handle. Entry level commuter yet stylish... engine is smooth and refined...zero noise... a bit less powerful for a 125cc but good enough for the mileage provided... superb road grip thanks to the Ceat tubeless tyres...longest seat...and quiet comfortable...... suspension is average.....superb bike ... could be at its best with a front disc

Best Features: The most economical 125cc and smooth.. come-on its YAMAHA!

Pros: Good millege, ride and handling is good, road grip is good, flairing headlight is stylish

Cons: No disc brake ... rest all the features are at its peak

Giving only 8PSat 63k, while Discover 150S offers around 12PS and Honda Shine 10PS, the person above who compared it with shine sounds stupid when he says that the Engine is better than shine. Nowhere near the pickup and ride quality as shine.

Best Features: Mileage claimed is good.

Pros: Comfortable, built quality, looks, mileage

Cons: Felt underpowered only 8ps
