MV Agusta F3 800 Updates

MV Agusta has announced its participation in the MotoAmerica Supersport grid for the 2024 season with the F3 800 RR, fielded by MP13 Racing and ridden by Roberto Tamburini and Aiden Sneed. This marks a significant return to competitive racing for MV Agusta. I think this move will help boost the bikes reputation among racing enthusiasts.

The 2024 MV Agusta F3 800 R has been updated with several key improvements, including a revised chassis with increased torsional rigidity, a new rear rim that is 425 grams lighter, and upgraded Brembo Stylema calipers. These changes are aimed at enhancing the bikes agility and braking performance. I believe these updates make the F3 800 R even more appealing to serious riders.

MV Agusta has introduced the F3 RR 800 for 2024, which boasts an 8 horsepower increase and a weight reduction of 8 kilograms compared to the standard F3 800. This version is specifically designed for World SuperSport competition and features advanced aerodynamic enhancements. The price, however, may be a deterrent for some buyers.

The MV Agusta F3 800 R 2024 model comes with a 798cc three-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 8.98 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm. It also features a six-axis IMU enabling advanced electronic controls like traction control, torque control, and wheelie control. This makes it a highly capable and tech-savvy bike. I think the electronics suite is one of its strongest points.

MV Agusta has refined the F3 800s engine to meet Euro 5 emissions standards, incorporating sintered metal valve guides, DLC-treated inverted cup cam followers, and a more efficient lubrication circuit. These changes improve power output and reduce mechanical losses. This attention to detail is what sets MV Agusta apart.

The 2024 MV Agusta F3 800 R features a tubular steel trellis frame connected to thick aluminum plates, enhancing chassis rigidity. The bike also includes fully adjustable suspension and braking systems, including 320mm discs with Brembo Stylema calipers. This combination makes it highly stable and responsive.

MV Agusta has redesigned the fairings of the F3 RR 800 to include internal downforce winglets, which improve aerodynamic efficiency. The new design also includes carbon fiber panels and a redesigned front end to enhance cooling and reduce drag. This focus on aerodynamics is a clear nod to its racing heritage.

The MV Agusta F3 800 R 2024 is priced at approximately Rs. 19 lakhs in international markets, though Indian pricing may vary. This places it in a competitive segment against other high-performance supersport bikes. I think the price is justified given its performance and features.

MV Agusta has upgraded the F3 800 R with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV tires, which offer improved grip and handling. The bike also features a revised dashboard display and simplified cruise control deactivation. These updates enhance the overall riding experience.

The F3 800 R 2024 model retains its compact and race-oriented chassis design, with a wheelbase of 54.3 inches and a seat height of 32.7 inches. This setup is ideal for track days and aggressive riding. I believe this design makes it a favorite among track enthusiasts.
