What would you change about the Yamaha RX 135 if you could change only one thing?

Better brakes, hands down. Stopping was great, but the acceleration. Not so much. It would've been so much safer with disc brakes.

Honestly, just make it meet emissions and stick an ABS on it. That should be it, everything else stays the same. Why fix what isn't broken?

Best memory? The day I learned to wheelie. Worst memory? Later that same day I looped it and bent the handlebars. Worth it though!

I have owned both and I honestly had more fun with the RX, but my new bike is much more practical. The RX is that crazy ex you can't forget but you know you shouldn't go back to.

Various collectors have collected the RX bikes and they are having the restored versions with them. You can find such a person and buy a Yamaha RX 135, which came in two versions. One was with 4-speed gearbox and the other being with a 5-speed gearbox. The RX 135 was a 2-stroke, 1-cylinder machine, producing 14 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 12.25 NM @ 7000 rpm. It was priced at INR 40,000 for the 5-speed variant.
