If they price it like the Polo, it might work. There's always a market for European-style hatchbacks, even if it's smaller.

It all comes down to after-sales service. If Renault can't match Maruti and Hyundai's network, the Clio won't stand a chance.

I think it could surprise us. Remember how the Kwid shook things up? If they get the formula right, the Clio could do well.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
Absolutely! The Roxor has all the ingredients—it's simple, capable, and different from the mainstream. Plus, the legal drama with Jeep only adds to its underdog appeal. Give it a few years, and it'll be a bona fide cult classic.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
I think it's already on its way. The Roxor has that same "forbidden fruit" appeal that the Samurai had. It's not trying to be a comfortable daily driver, which makes it special to enthusiasts who appreciate its focused design.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
It's possible, but the Roxor faces more competition than the Samurai did. With so many side-by-sides and off-road options available now, it might struggle to stand out in the long run.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
As a Samurai owner, I see a lot of parallels. Both are simple, lightweight, and incredibly capable off-road. The Roxor might even have an edge because it's easier to get parts and support for it.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
The Roxor's cult status will depend on how Mahindra handles it going forward. If they keep it true to its roots and don't try to make it too mainstream, it could definitely achieve that Samurai-like following.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
I think the Roxor's potential classic status is limited by its lack of street legality in many areas. Part of what made the Samurai cool was that you could drive it anywhere. The Roxor is more niche.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?

The Roxor has a good shot at becoming a classic because it fills a unique niche. It's more capable than a side-by-side but more affordable and simpler than a Wrangler. That in-between status makes it special.

As someone who's been in the off-road scene for decades, I can see the Roxor becoming a classic. It's got that same quirky charm and underdog spirit that made people fall in love with the Samurai.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?

The key for the Roxor will be the community that builds around it. If it develops a strong, passionate following like the Samurai did, then it's well on its way to cult status.
Could the Mahindra Roxor become a cult classic like the Suzuki Samurai?
24 January 2025 07:55
I think the Roxor's classic potential is tied to its modularity. Like the Samurai, it's a great platform for customization. As people create unique builds, it'll only add to its legend.
Would a strong hybrid powertrain option from Maruti Suzuki be a good idea in the Ciaz?
31 December 2024 07:45
Absolutely! It would be amazing to have a strong hybrid Ciaz. It could easily compete with the City e:They offer killer fuel efficiency, and also HEV. If they made it, I'd definitely be considering buying one.
Would a strong hybrid powertrain option from Maruti Suzuki be a good idea in the Ciaz?
31 December 2024 07:45
I don't think it's necessary. For most users, the current mild hybrid system is good enough. They'd just create a more expensive and complicated thing to maintain.
Would a strong hybrid powertrain option from Maruti Suzuki be a good idea in the Ciaz?
31 December 2024 07:45
It's a tough call. The Ciaz is great for efficiency, but a strong hybrid would price it out of the current segment. The pricing would have to be taken care of by Maruti.
