While am going to book Suzuki Gixxer SF, in showroom they said Gixxer SF returns 55 kmpl, are they cheating people?
02 January 2023 06:34
The Suzuki Gixxer SF comes with a real life mileage of around 40-45 kmpl, considering both city and highway riding. The company officials are always describing the company claimed mileage figure and they will even show you the papers or certificate related to that claim. They 55 kmpl figure is actually extracted by riding the bike on a conveyer belt in controlled conditions. It is possible that you can achieve a 50 kmpl mileage while riding continuously on highway on a speed of 50-55 kmph but getting 55 kmpl would require adequate temperature, tyre pressure, gross weight(including your weight and fuel) etc. Its is practically not possible as most of the times a person is riding with a pillion and the values get decreased considerably. You should expect a mileage of 45 kmpl to the max. The Gixxer Sf currently has a price tag of INR 83,439 (ex-showroom Delhi).
