What kind of riding experience can riders expect from the Honda RC213V-S?
17 April 2025 18:45

The Honda RC213V-S offers a unique and exhilarating riding experience characterized by its seamless, brutal acceleration and a remarkably linear power curve from around 3,000 rpm to the redline. Despite its relatively low torque at low revs, the bike comes to life as the engine reaches higher RPMs, allowing riders to achieve near 100mph speeds in first gear and over 150mph in subsequent gears. The bike is incredibly agile and lightweight, with a dry weight of around 160kg, making it highly responsive and stable in both corners and straight lines. The suspension, featuring Ohlins TTX forks and rear shock, is surprisingly comfortable and forgiving over bumps, while the Brembo brakes provide phenomenal stopping power. The riding position is aggressive, with high-set foot pegs and a reach to the bars, but it feels balanced and stable, making it ideal for confident and experienced riders. However, the rev limiter, which can be capped at 7,000 RPM in some models, may limit the full potential of the bike, but overall, it delivers a ferociously fast and precise riding experience that feels akin to riding a MotoGP machine on the road.

What does it do for your street cred in the bike community?

Who cares about cred? If it makes you happy and you can afford it, then go for it. You can't waste your life worrying about what other people think.
Could the average rider even take the RC213V-S's performance?

In reality, it’s actually designed to be surprisingly manageable. Honda's whole philosophy is making fast bikes that are easy to ride.
Is the RC213V-S a taste of things to come in superbikes or just an expensive novelty?
24 January 2025 10:23
Pure novelty. Bikes are the future, and it's not six-figure race replicas; it's in electrification and accessibility.
Is the Honda RC213V-S really worth its enormous price?
24 January 2025 10:23
Instead, I would rather put that money towards a car. At least I could plug it into my wall daily without needing to worry about it being stolen or crashed.
How does the RC213V S stack up to other 'race replicas' such as the Ducati Superleggera V4?
24 January 2025 10:23
It's apples and oranges. For Ducatisti it's the Superleggera; for Honda fanboys, the RC213V-S. They are both incredible in their own way.
Why the power & torque figures of Honda RC213V-S different for Europe, Japan, USA & Australia?
02 January 2023 06:23
The power has been restricted in every country according to the rules and regulations maintained by their governments and law enforcing agencies. The European and Australian version of the RC213V-S is much more powerful than the Japanese and American version. The engine being used in all the bikes is same with different tuning levels and electronic limitations. The 999 cc engine comes with 156.8 BHP for the Australian and European version whereas the other two comes with lower values of 69 and 100 BHP. The bike comes with a very expensive price tag of INR 1.35 crore which also varies from country to country. It will go on bookings from July 13 to September 30. The sports kit available for the motorcycle will further boost its performance and produce 212 BHP from the same engine.

Why is Honda RC213V-S so expensive?
02 January 2023 06:23
Honda RC213V-S is so expensive because it has been derived from the MotoGP version of the bike names RC213V. The track version and the road legal version only has certain differences, which includes the rear view mirrors, side stand, front headlight and the different seat for riding. The power has been limited electronically, which means that the same engine has been used in the road legal version also. Its ultra light weight design, which is 170 kg only is all due to its light carbon fiber parts and skipping the unnecessary parts for riding. The bike has a very powerful engine capable for producing 250+ BHP in its fully functional form, making it a really expensive ride. It also uses the parts manufactured by top performance brands for its brakes, tyres and other components.
