What is the launch date of Bajaj Pulsar CS200?
29 December 2022 05:58
The Bajaj Pulsar CS200 is most probably the next product for the launch as Bajaj has finished all the launched below 400 cc Pulsars except the CS200. The confusion would be between the RS400 and CS200 as it solely depends on the company that will it introduce a new segment first or finish completing the Race Sport segment. The next launch may be planned near to the new year and RS400 has more chances of launch before the CS200. The cruiser sport model gets the same 199.5 cc engine, producing most probably 24.2 BHP and 18.6 NM of torque. The gearbox would be 6-speed and it is expected to be priced around INR 1,05,000.
When is Bajaj going to re-launch the Chetak scooter and what would be the on-road price?
29 December 2022 05:58
Bajaj has announced that it would never enter the scooter market, even if they know that the segment is booming with a very high pace. The famous Bajaj Chetak would not have a relaunch and you would have to go for a used version of the same. It gets a 2-stroke, 145.45 cc engine producing 7.5 BHP and 10.8 NM of torque. The gearbox is a 4-speed hand shifter unit and the scooter comes with a kerb weight of 103 kg only. Most of the weight is rear focused as engine as well as all the components are placed at the rear only. The scooter gets a surprising top speed of 85 kmph and returned an excellent 40-45 kmpl at its time.

The 199.5 cc engine on the Pulsar is good for a max of 24.2 BHP @ 9750 rpm and 18.6 NM @ 8,000 rpm. I need a new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, from where can I get it?
29 December 2022 05:58
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS has been halted from production from a long time and company has also stated that it will be added soon to the list of discontinued vehicles. Getting a new 200 NS from a dealer of some remote area is possible up to a very little extent and you would have to try for some used Pulsar 200 NS if no new unit is found. The other best option for the same is the new Pulsar AS200, which gets the same underpinnings as the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. It comes with a semi faired design and gets extra features like a windshield, projector headlamp and better tuned suspension. It comes with the same INR 91,550 price tag as the Pulsar 200 NS.
Is it possible to fit double discs in a Bajaj Pulsar 150?
29 December 2022 05:57
Practically, adding a disc into a motorcycle is possible and making it double disc is not an issue. The problem comes to the riding quality of the motorcycle as most of the bikes including Pulsar 150 are made with exact spaces between the various parts. Inserting a disc brake would effect the dimension in few mm, resulting in overall bad ride quality and malfunction risk. It is avoided as company describes that modifying any of the component and driving can lead to injury and the rider would take the sole responsibility for the same. Pulsar 150 comes with a single disc and company feels it to be enough for the required braking power. Even bikes as big as 700 cc have single disc at the front and single at the rear.

The fuel tank for the bike is 8 liters and it returns a 70 kmpl mileage. The top speed has been rated 90 kmph and the bikes gets drum brakes for both the wheels. My height is 5.5", can I ride Bajaj Pulsar RS200, is this bike comfortable for me?
29 December 2022 05:57
It is possible for you to ride the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 but the problems would be faced while riding in high traffic roads and rough conditions. The bike comes with a seat height of 820 mm and putting your feet everytime you brake will be a difficult task. Even if you put the same easily, the weight of 165 kg would put a lot of pressure on your legs and riding it where you need to continuously brake and accelerate(traffic lights and markets) will be a bit risky too. You should avoid buying the RS200 and should wait for the new Pulsar CS200. The bike would come with the same engine and specifications and its cruiser feel would make you easy on every ride at every type of road.   Know about CS200 here – https://autos.maxabout.com/bikes/bajaj/pulsar-cs/pulsar-cs200
Am not able to figure out the reserve mode switch position in my Bajaj Pulsar AS150?
21 September 2023 07:12

The knob of the Pulsar AS150 presents a little bit of confusion but twisting the circle into the right direction till the 'RES' comes before the arrow is the position for setting the bike into reserve. The 'ON' symbol can again be used if the knob is twisted to the extreme left. The bike comes with a 12 liter fuel tank, out of which the reserve fuel tank is 2.4 liter. The bike returns a mileage of 45 kmpl, making it good for 500 + km on a single refill.

When is Bajaj going to launch the Blade 125 in India?
29 December 2022 05:57
Bajaj Blade 125 is a product listed in the 'no launch plan' section of Bajaj Autos. Bajaj has clearly explained its motive of being the best Indian motorcycle maker and it will not manufacture a scooter at all. The Blade used the industry best technologies like DTS-i engine, SNS suspension for the rear, telescopic forks for the front, alloy wheels and a disc brake for safe braking. The 125 cc engine of the scooter was good for 11.5 BHP and the scooter would have weighed 163 kg, being its only drawback.
Please suggest me, which one is good – Bajaj Pulsar RS200, KTM RC 200 or KTM 200 Duke?
29 December 2022 05:57
KTM 200 Duke is the best bike from the three above selected bikes. RC200 is an excellent example of a lightweight sport bike but lacks the comfort of everyday riding with its aggressive seat position. The RS200 is again using the same engine but seems to be lesser refined than its KTM competitors. The 200 Duke presents a perfect combination of power and comfort as it gets a raised handlebar with upright seating position. The things get more better when the 199.5 cc engine produces a max of 24.6 BHP and 19.2 NM of torque. It gets USD forks for better suspension and an attractive price tag of INR 1,38,000.

The bike weighs 143 kg and comes with a fuel tank of 12 liter, good for more than 500 km on a single refill. It comes with a projector headlamp and a large windshield for a better ride quality. Is Bajaj Pulsar LS135 long lasting & durable for me in a hill-station (Mussoorie)?
29 December 2022 05:57
Pulsar 135 LS gets a powerful 135 cc engine producing 13.3 BHP. The maximum torque being produced by the same is 11.4 NM. The engine is good when riding single in Mussoorie but its low torque factor makes it feel weak while riding double on the motorcycle. The bike gets a light weight and sleek body design, making it advantageous on narrow roads and curves but on the other hand, its riding position is not as comfortable as other bikes in the segment. Considering Yamaha SZ-RR version 2.0, the engine produces 11.9 BHP and 12.8 NM of torque. This makes it good for double riding and the sitting position makes it more comfortable for longer rides. It gets an addition of INR 2500 to the INR 63,549 price tag of Pulsar LS135.

From where can I buy a Kawasaki Bajaj Eliminator?
29 December 2022 05:57
Bajaj Eliminator has been discontinued from a long time and its availability is currently not possible except in the used motorcycle market. It's better to go for Bajaj Avenger as it carries the Eliminator design and gets better engine as well as power values. The Eliminator had a 173.9 cc engine producing 15.2 BHP and 13.7 Nm of torque whereas the Avenger gets a 220 cc, DTSi engine. Both the bikes come with a 5-speed transmission and comes with typical cruiser styling. You can get an old Eliminator for INR 30,000 whereas a new Bajaj Avenger would cost you around INR 90,000.
Which 125cc bike is best? Confused? Hero Glamour PGM-Fi or Bajaj Pulsar 135LS?
29 December 2022 05:56
Hero Glamour is a better option when considering a bike in the 125 cc segment. The Pulsar 135LS is quiet powerful but its built quality is not upto the mark. A lot of vibrations are found in the Pulsar when riding fast, making the ride quality lower than others in the segment. Going for 125 cc bike is a better opinion and the 124.7 cc engine from the Hero Glamour is an excellent unit. It produces 9 BHP and 10.35 NM of torque, returning a mileage of 55 kmpl. The bike comes with a 13.6 liter fuel tank, making it good for 700 km stretch at a single refill.
Why the mileage of KTM RC 200 is better than Bajaj Pulsar 220F?
29 December 2022 05:56
KTM RC200 has a better mileage because it comes with better technologies than the Pulsar 220 DTS-i. RC200 comes with a 199.5 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 24.65 BHP and 19.2 NM of torque. The engine is very responsive and when driven at consistent speeds, it delivers a very good mileage figure also. The Pulsar uses carburetor as its fuel system, making it lesser refined and thereby reducing the mileage figure.
When will Bajaj launch NS150 & what would be the price?
29 December 2022 05:56
The Bajaj Pulsar NS150 has been under the spotlight from a long time. Bajaj was differentiating all the Pulsars into their respective departments like AS, RS, NS and CS but suddenly discontinued the NS200 as a part of increase of production of the AS series. The move was odd as the completion of series were getting close with the launch of NS150. Now, it can't be exactly said that they will produce the NS150 for Indian market or carry it only for other developing markets like Africa and South America. The NS150 had the same engine as AS150 and would be built on the same frame and assembly line. If not launched in year 2015, it would be out from the list of vehicles as CS series would overtake the initiative on the upcoming Pulsar list. It was expected with a price tag of INR 75,000.
What should be done to get the optimum mileage from Bajaj Pulsar AS200?
12 September 2023 04:57
The mileage factor in a Pulsar can only be seen if you ride the bike between a speed of 50-60 kmph, that too in the top gear for most of the time. In current traffic conditions, the same possibility is not possible practically. You should try to choose you daily route which gets less traffic, which directly means less braking. You should switch off the engine on traffic lights and clean your air filter and fuel delivery system at regular intervals. The bike should be driven with appropriate air pressure in the tyres as less would reduce mileage whereas more would reduce traction.
