The Flow cloud features are awesome! It's super convenient being able to track my scooter and to check its status on my phone. Privacy isn’t too much of a concern for me - if you use a smartphone, you’re already being tracked.

As a cybersecurity professional, there are serious concerns. Hackers can enter through any connected device. What if somebody remotely controls your scooter?

I think the benefits outweigh the risks for me. It’s worth it to be able to get OTA updates and improve my scooter over time. Use strong passwords and turn on two factor authentication!

22Motors isn't going to spy on us, I think we're overreacting. The data is being used to make their products and services better. This is no different than what our phones already do.

Of course, privacy issues aside, the cloud connectivity has saved my bacon more than once. Priceless is being able to locate my scooter when I forget where I parked.

I'm on the fence. The cool features, but I wish there was an option to use the scooter in "offline" mode if I don't want to be tracked.

If your data has been breached before, you're likley to be wary of any device that is constantly collecting your information. The Flow is fantastic, but the cloud features scare me.

I’m a mechanic and I can tell you it’s not easy to transition to EVs. The Flow is the computer on wheels. This tech needs more training programs to be up to date.

We're thinking about this too much, I think. And the mechanics have always adapted to new technology. Servicing a Flow will be just as common as fixing a smartphone, just give it time.
