| Hero ZIR 150 is a relatively powerful scooter for the gearless segment. It is yet to be launched in the market but it is more promising for youngsters who want a high end performance from a scooter. It has 157.1cc engine which gives out a power of an impressive 14.1 bhp @ 8500 rpm and a torque of 12.7 nm @ 7000 rpm. In this unique high segment Hero ZIR 150 will face tough competition from Honda PCX 150, which is also not been launched in India yet. | NA | Honda PCX 150 is an expected model that carries a 153cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine, producing 13.4 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. It comes mated to an automatic gearbox and uses 220 mm front disc brake for efficient braking. It uses telescopic forks at the front and weighs 130 kg with a full fuel tank. In India, the engine may loose the fuel injection and liquid cooling feature while they may even use the engine from Unicorn 150 for the scooter. This will even keep the costs low for the scooter. It will rival Aprilia SR150 and Vespa VXL 150 in the country. | |
