The Benelli TNT 25, equipped with Metzeler tyres, is known for its enhanced grip and handling. Customers can opt for these premium tyres at an additional cost of Rs 7,000, which many riders find worth the investment for the extra grip and safety it provides. I think this upgrade is a great option for those who prioritize performance and safety.

Despite being discontinued, the Benelli TNT 25 remains popular for its powerful 249cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 28bhp and 22Nm of torque. The Metzeler tyre option was a highlight, offering better traction and control, especially appealing to enthusiasts who value a more responsive ride. I believe this feature was a key selling point for many buyers.

Benelli had been working on improving the braking system of the TNT 25, with plans to introduce an in-house ABS system. However, the initial models with Metzeler tyres still relied on the existing braking setup, which some riders found lacking in real-world performance. I think the ABS upgrade would have significantly enhanced the bikes safety credentials.

The bikes visual appeal, combined with the performance boost from the premium tyres, made it a standout in the 250cc segment. I think the design and tyre combination made it a compelling choice for many riders.

In terms of customization, Benelli offered several options for the TNT 25, including the choice between standard MRF tyres and the premium Metzeler tyres. This flexibility allowed buyers to tailor their bike to their riding preferences, making the TNT 25 more appealing to a wider audience. I believe this customization option was a smart move by Benelli.

The Benelli TNT 25, when equipped with Metzeler tyres, delivered impressive performance figures, including a 0-100 kmph acceleration in around 9.8 seconds. This, combined with its top speed of approximately 140 kmph, made it a formidable competitor in the quarter-litre segment. I think the Metzeler tyres played a crucial role in these performance metrics.

Despite its discontinuation, the Benelli TNT 25 remains remembered for its powerful engine and the option to upgrade to Metzeler tyres. This upgrade not only improved the bikes handling but also added to its aesthetic appeal, making it a favorite among some motorcycle enthusiasts. I believe the Metzeler tyres were a key factor in its popularity.

Benellis decision to offer Metzeler tyres as an option for the TNT 25 was seen as a strategic move to attract riders who value high-performance tyres. This option added to the bikes overall value, making it more competitive in the market. I believe this was a good move to differentiate the TNT 25 from its competitors.
