A lot of news is coming from Tata Motors nowadays. Now the latest buzz is that the Tata Indicruz, an MPV which is based on the existing Safari platform is being readied for a 2009 launch. The Indicruz would compete head on with the Toyota Innova when its launched. The Indicruz Crossover (Xover) is a 7-seater and will most likely have the latest 2.2 liter Dicor engine, navigation system, ABS and air bags among and classy interiors along with other things like 17" aloy wheels, mirror mounted indicators. The car will have a global launch around May/June 2009.

The Crossovers have been in great demand with the taxi companies which ferry callcentre and BPO staff thanks to the outsourcing boom witnessed by the country. Toyota Innova, amongst the most successful Crossovers has sold 132,045 units since its launch in 2005. The Indicruz prototype has been seen road testing close to Pune and the MPV looks rather modern with a large grille and peeled back headlamp which look very indica-ish (the new Indica). The interiors appear very roomy and are beige in color. The dashboard is well sorted out with a lot of storage space.

    Its looks like indica or indigo models. You have to consider a big change in front and rear side of the vehicle if u r planning to launch as the prototype was which looked much better!!
