In 2013, SSC North America introduced the Ultimate Aero XT, a special edition to mark the end of the Ultimate Aeros production. This limited edition featured a new 6.9-litre all-aluminium twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a seven-speed paddle-shifted gearbox. Only one XT was built, utilizing components designed for the upcoming Tuatara model. I think this was a fitting tribute to the Ultimate Aeros legacy.

In 2009, SSC updated the Ultimate Aero TT, increasing its power by 15% and enhancing its aerodynamics with new carbon fibre louvres and an AeroBrake system. I believe these updates made the Ultimate Aero TT even more formidable on the track.
