I Bought an SX4 Zdi variant and its been over 5 months and drived it over 10200kms.but now there is problem it didn't start for 3 different times so we had to call the mechanic.And they took the vehicle to the workshop with the help of the other vehicle.And they some how fixed the problem by cleaning the filter, but they are not sure what is the actual problem with the car and today also the same problem got repeated...

SX4 - the car, definitely not value for the money. It’s like “old wine in a new bottle". As usual, SX4 flunked in the market again with the new model. Bulk Appearance only a sketch, it’s like car with obese  ? . I am not stopping anyone from buying this toy car, just making a point to ponder, what happens when you run a bullock cart with one bull (even they are special breed ;) ) and another one couple of bulls/horses They will do the job but slowly they will worn out. Questions/ concerns are performance of this on a long run? With 1.2L engine it will either become tired and we will start spending more money in the name of service. What’s the difference it makes from swift/Ritz/Dzire? Driving this car in 172 KM/hr and 6k KMS doesn’t make any difference.  Nowadays technology has improved so much you will get the speed and comfort in most of the recent cars.  
Absolutely no Manoeuvrability and the weight of this car is not proportioned enough to handle the high speed situation. I have tried this with this puppet?.  However, don’t want to say more about it. I am not against Maruti-Suzuki, just that this product is waste of quality, money and need to think twice before having an asset like this.

Driven Sx4 Zdi 6k kms 4.5 months city avg 16+, highway avg- 18kmpl, drove 2 top speed of 172 km/hr, nice handling abundunt power at disposal & very refined engine, happy at my decision of putting faith in my purchase, advise people 2 go ahead & choose Sx4 diesel, superb value for maoney.

MS, used to be the best 5 years back, not now. Nowadays, their product doesnt meet the expectations. Swift, Dzire, Ritz, now SX4 with same engine with a different label DDIS, Booster, K series, Double Booster.

However, 9L for SX4 is not worth. Forget about speed and pick up, even 1996 model maruti 800 can do 100km/hr now. It will be a smooth drive if the roads are good.At the same time we will not have any complaints about suspension, road clearence, tyres.

I did try driving this car, I didnt feel anything special. Its just a normal car named SX4 and defenetly not worth for 9L or 10L.

Even Dzire is better other than its awkward shape and clutch problem. They should have tried a different engine with SX4. Its selling the same product at higher price for no reason. LoL Sorry, I couldnt accept the marketing strategy. Men are back, what is that mean?

Done 1450 Kms in Delhi city, giving mileage of 18.8 kms drove @ speed of 137 kms on the new Badarpur- Faridabad streatch for approx 2kms. Power is no probs at all, if people are unable to drive past 100kms in SX4 Diesel, there's a serious flaw in either their specific car or their driving skills.

I bought SX4 VDI on 2nd March. I wants to share my views might be right now you are not with me but after buying this, you read my comment one more time to check what is missing.

I have two more diesel car(one 2004 model & other 2006 model) of the same segment but diff. manufacture. I don't want to disclose the name of the manufacturer. And believe me those are still comfortable in term of driving.
Yes from inside car is spacious or says huge car but interiors are very very cheap quality. If you entering the basement parking of exit from basement parking and slant are ROUND or CURVES then you get visibility problem. Then only your expertise in driving helps you. Shape of the body is very good. Ground clearance is very good. But at the time of reverse show ur expertise with more confident. Yes, a suspension in SX4 is good.

I drive approx 3500 km. In city average is 14-15 kmph and on highway its 16 kmph. is very less than company claims. My maximum drive is long drive on highway and speed is not more than 100. Along with that I visit 5 times at APRA Workshop (Maruti Auth.)in last 2 months with same problem. Their is a noice just like whistle as I increase the speed. They also recognise and tring to get rid of this noice. They change vacume pipe also but noice is still their. Now today they told me that is the normal noice with other cars also. I had great expectation from this compact sedan, but it’s not worth to spent 8.5 lakhs (in Haryana).  It disappoints me. Yes I know Maruti is the best automotive deal in India but in small cars only.

Guys take my word, its all copy cat business, MS has the worst build quality and all what they give is peanuts for gold.

People says much mur mur about DDIS engine, i have i 20 CRDI, i have churned out swift DDIS, punto multijet, linea, manza quadrajet and also sx4 ddis, forget ford its no where near race, take in ghats or on the highway, in terms of performance none of those can beat i20 crdi, interms build quality, smoothness, pickup , style and all, its just awesome, it looks as if you are paying more but if you analyse parts by parts then you will get the real picture, interms of engine also DDIS gives guarentee of 80,000 kms / 3 years but i20 crdi gives unlimited kms / 3 years guarentee. run your brains and decide which is the best. also the mileage what i have got was 18.5 on all time ghats/mountains drive that too on full turbo drive, you will never feel tired because of MDPS.... checkout guys its the practical opinion

Bought SX4 ZDI in last week March 11, already used for 1000kms, mileage in city is close to 18kmpl, power is good, do not get mentally stuck with 1248 cc engine power delivery is smooth across RPM range & when pressed accelarates very well till 160-170 kms/hr, comfortable & great value for money do not think the new Verna or Fiesta will match up to it either in dimensions or performance.

The SX4 diesel comes less in cc but power-packed with more power and torque to its engine. Depending on requirement, the vanes in the turbocharger change their angle to provide optimum air flow. This optimizes efficiency across the engine rpm range.

Hahaha.....well, you certainly have not driven an SX4 my fren.....try once, and then tell me if Honda City is better.....and, try to evaluate which is better VFM!!

Honda City is a better car, which has better looks and quality than the SX4.
