The classic retro look is making a comeback in the world of motorcycles. It is a timeless design that appeals to people of all ages. With this in mind, Yamaha has introduced the GT150 Fazer in China.

The starting retail price is 13,390 yuan, which is approximately Rs 1.60 lakh. The Yamaha GT150 Fazer borrows a large part of its hardware and equipment from other 150cc bikes.

Yamaha GT150 Fazer has a graceful design that is pleasing to the eyes. The bike exudes friendliness and is available in White, Blue, Light Grey, and Dark Grey. Much of the bike's lower section is blacked out in all colour variants.

A round headlamp, a round tail light, round rearview mirrors, and turn signals are some of the signature retro features of the new Yamaha GT150 Fazer.

Other features include all-LED lighting, a 12V DC charging socket, and fork gaiters. A teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a quilted tan leather seat, and tracker-style side panels. The bike has a digital instrument panel that is round and displays a variety of information.

The 149cc engine used on the Yamaha GT150 Fazer has the same bore and stroke as the FZ15, Fazer 150, and Crosser 150. The air-cooled, two-valve SOHC motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission system. It produces a max power of 12.3 hp at 7,500 rpm and 12.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Both ends of the bike have 18-inch wheels with a 90/90 front tyre and a 100/80 rear tyre with disc brakes at both ends. The bike has a 1,330 mm wheelbase, weighs 126 kg, and has a 12.5-litre fuel tank.

With the growing popularity of retro bikes in India, the Yamaha GT150 Fazer appears to be an appropriate candidate to be introduced here. But it is unknown whether the GT150 Fazer will be launched in India or not.
