Yamaha FZ-X Unveils Two Stylish New Colour Schemes!

Yamaha has expanded the FZ-X lineup with the introduction of two new colour options – Chrome and Metallic Black. The Chrome variant is priced at Rs 1,39,700 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it the costliest choice in the FZ-X range. Additionally, the first 100 online bookings for this variant will receive a Casio G-Shock watch upon delivery. The Metallic Black option comes with a price tag of Rs 1,36,200 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Chrome Colour Scheme

The newly introduced Chrome variant of the Yamaha FZ-X comes with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,39,700. This edition features a dazzling chrome treatment applied to both the tank and the headlight nacelle. The aesthetic appeal is further enhanced with golden-coloured wheels. Additionally, the launch offer includes a Casio G-Shock watch for the first 100 online bookings.

Metallic Black Colour Option

Priced at Rs 1,36,200 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Metallic Black colour option offers a distinctive look with blacked-out treatment applied to various components. Despite the visual changes, this variant retains the same mechanical specifications as the existing FZ-X models.

Mechanical Specifications

Powering the Yamaha FZ-X is a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine capable of generating 12.4PS power and 13.3Nm torque. The bike is equipped with a 41mm telescopic fork and a monoshock for suspension. The braking system includes a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc with single-channel ABS.

Features

The FZ-X comes with modern features, including an LCD instrument console. Moreover, it offers Bluetooth connectivity through the Y-Connect app, enhancing the overall riding experience.

Competition

In the market, the Yamaha FZ-X faces competition from rivals like the Kawasaki W175 and the Keeway SR125. These bikes are part of the competitive landscape, providing buyers with diverse options in this segment.

While the new colour options bring visual variety to the Yamaha FZ-X lineup, there are no mechanical changes. The bike continues to offer a 149cc engine, distinctive styling, and features such as an LCD instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity. Yamaha aims to provide customers with choices that cater to diverse preferences within the FZ-X range.
