Volkswagen Sedric Concept Unveiled @ 2017 Geneva Auto Show

VW Sedric is one of its kind product from the German automobile giant, better defined as fully unconventional approach of mobility solution with no steering wheel, cockpit or pedal at all. The brand even calls it the biggest change process in its history. It meets the fully autonomous Sedric study and complies with 'Together – Strategy 2025'. Sedric comes with the highest autonomy ratings (level 5) and can collect its passengers by a single touch of button.

Volkswagen claims that Sedric is 100 percent battery operated, fully connected and autonomous, thus performing its tasks efficiently without the need of a driver. A human will never be allowed to take control on the vehicle as it has no such control on any of its part. Sedric even helps in keeping much important information at check as its built in personal assistant function can help you discuss the route, drive time, traffic conditions and much more. The front windscreen doubles up as augmented reality display and works as an information center to the passengers. Even if they don't want to look out for something like this, they can close their eyes and relax during the drive. VW will develop around 30 purely electric cars by 2025 and invest several billion euros into the autonomous technology development. This would also help in improving safety and utility measures on the upcoming fleet of VW cars.
