The hike in price is quite visible but still, it comes out to be the most affordable 200cc motorcycle around the country. The new TVS Apache RTR 200 was seen sprinting from standstill to 149 kmph in a short period of time. It went to 130 kmph with ease and then struggled to touch the speedometer indicated top speed. The same interval registered a top speed of 141.9 kmph on the GPS device where they calculated the speed by equating distance covered with time taken for the same. TVS Apache RTR 200 is powered by a 197.75 cc, single cylinder engine producing 20.23 BHP at 8500 rpm and 18.1 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. TVS used an impressive instrument console that is white back-lit and looks beautiful on the profile of this bike. It weighs just 148 kg, making it 13 kg lighter than the most impressive looking street bike, the Duke 250. It comes with 12 liters of fuel tank and returns around 40 kmpl of mileage. The Pirelli version for the same can be bought for INR 98,315.
