TVS Akula 310 (Apache RTR 300) has been spotted for the first time in India with heavy camouflaged body and working front lights. The motorcycle has been announced for production and would soon be one of the best available 300cc motorcycles in India. It is expected to be launched by the end of this year or by early 2017.
In comparison to the Akula 310 concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, the production version will skip on many parts including carbon fiber body panels and the sport exhaust kit. The inclusion of front headlights on the production version lowers the brutal expressions on the front of the motorcycle while its sporty riding position can be judged from the riders posture.
Akula/Apache RTR 300 is based the BMW G310R street motorcycle. The engine powering the motorcycle is a 313cc single-cylinder motor producing 33.6 BHP and 28 Nm of torque (unofficial power & torque figures). The suspension, brakes and any other parts are being shared between both the motorcycles.
