Toyota, which is popular for its build quality, now seems to be losing its reliability since the complaints from buyers are increasing with each passing day. Innova Crysta, which is a premium MPV, and is available in the market with a price tag of Rs 16.77 lakh to Rs 24.99 lakh. Therefore, it is quite obvious for the buyers to expect hassle-free ownership with a comfy riding experience. But, much to our surprise, there are numerous reports of dashboard, air-conditioning, and steering wheel issues.

Delving into the matter, we found that the new Inova Crysta by Toyota has major quality issues. After a short span of usage, there are cracks developing on the dashboard, air-con vents, as well as the steering wheel. As per the owners, they have already notified the dealerships about the problem, and to their absolute disappointment, they said that the issue is occurring owing to heat and other external factors.

This crack issue is noted in several cities across the country, and it is supposed that the reason behind this is the usage of poor quality plastic while developing the MPV to save on production costs. It is also possible that poor plastic is only used in the manufacture of interior components. Besides, there are some owners that claim that there are other issues as well such as the driver's seatback falling in one particular car.

According to a leading media house, they have made a query to Toyota to hear about the scenario, but the brand has not responded yet. We just hope the manufacturer listens to the buyers and takes an appropriate step towards the betterment of present and upcoming vehicles so that there will be no further objections regarding the build quality of this premium MPV.
