Toyota Innova Crysta became the best-selling car of its category, registering a YoY growth of 43.17 percent and selling more than 85,000 units in less than one year. This makes it the best selling Toyota model in the Indian market. Despite of the same being placed at a considerable premium over the last version, Innova Crysta is being sold in surprisingly huge numbers. It was launched for INR 13.73 lakh for the base version while recently launched Touring Sport edition claimed a top spec price of INR 22.15 lakh.
Toyota Innova Crysta Touring Sport was recently launched in India for a starting price of INR 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Rather than being a limited edition variant, Toyota will add the Touring Sport as a regular variant with unique identity. The changes are seen on the exterior and interior of the car while it’s engine and drive-train remains exactly the same as the normal version. Touring Sport can be bought in just Wild Fire and White Pearl Crystal Shine shades while standard variant has few other options on offer.

Innova Crysta comes with two diesel motors while the other one is 2.7 liter petrol engine. The most powerful engine out of all, 2.8 liter 4-cylinder diesel unit is good for 171.6 BHP at 3400 rpm and 360 Nm at 1200-3400 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and returns company claimed 14.3 kmpl of mileage. The car measures 4735 mm in length, 1830 mm in width and 1795 mm in height. Toyota promises an even better ride on all variants of Innova Crysta than the earlier version.
