Suzuki Intruder 150 Launched in India: Suzuki has finally launched the 150cc Intruder in India at INR 98,340 (ex-showroom Delhi). The most exclusive product ever from Suzuki, Intruder 150 was a hot name even one week before its official launch. It gathered mixed reviews as fans were confused about the huge machine that shared a lot with Gixxer series but felt disproportionate from certain angles.

No one had ever seen a design like this in 150cc segment and thus, it gets a special recognition among others through its extraordinarily long headlight area and puny looking 140 section tyre. Still, comfort and refinement would not be a problem with Intruder 150. It is powered by the same 154.9cc, single cylinder engine as Suzuki Gixxer, producing 14.6 BHP at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6000 rpm.
The engine is carburetor fed and uses air cooling on the new cruiser. Suzuki offers single channel ABS for further improvement in overall braking on the motorcycle. The 150cc cruiser measures 2130 mm in length, 805 mm in width and 1095 mm in height. Even after 740 mm of low seat placement, riders get 170 mm of clear ground clearance from the motorcycle.
Suzuki Intruder 150 weighs quite high when compared to the Gixxer at 148 kg. The nearly infinite body panels of the motorcycle hide a small 11 liter fuel tank under its surface. A futuristic exhaust design further makes the motorcycle feel huge compared to others of this segment.
Suzuki shares alloy wheels, tyres, suspension, instrument console and engine components with the Gixxer while chopper style forward set foot-pegs and front fascia is unique to Intruder 150. It rivals none other than Bajaj Avenger and inclusion of ABS makes it a better equipped machine in overall terms. The new 150cc cruiser is more power and carries much more exclusivity than any other bike around its segment.
