TVS Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition has been recently launched by the brand at a price tag of INR 44,322 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant of one of the most desired scooters in India has been launched specifically for the customers digging the newest trend of the matte paint job on their two-wheelers. The matte paint variant of the TVS Scooty Pep Plus gets a premium of around INR 1100 higher than its standard variant. In addition to the introduction of two new matte variants namely 'Coral Matte' and 'Aqua Matte', the brand has equipped the scooter with a fresh set of graphics that adds to its unique appeal. The Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition features 3D Scooty Pep+ logo while gets a new textured seat design. Apart from the addition of some cosmetic upgrades, the scooter remains mechanically unaltered. Powering the TVS Scooty Pep Plus Matte Edition is the same 87.8cc air-cooled Ecothrust engine that is capable of offering a maximum power figure of 5HP and a peak torque of 5.8Nm. The suspension duties on the Pep+ are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear features a side-sided shock absorber. The 110mm drum brakes at either end have been mated to Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT). The lightweight scooter is one of the most preferred scooters in the country by women riders since it is easy to handle as well as features a unique design language. The premium feature list on the new matte edition remains the same when it comes to mobile charger socket, open-glove box, TVS's patented ‘Eazy’ Stand technology, side stand alarm, under-seat storage hooks and more.
