BS6-compliant Honda Activa 125 has been officially unveiled by the largest scooter manufacturer of India. The scooter is using modern technology to ensure the least emission level and maximum mileage for the customer. The scooter comes with an advanced 125cc, single cylinder petrol engine with Honda Eco Technology and fuel injection. The results are clear as Honda Activa 125 Fi is the first product from the lineup to meet the safety and emission standards that are coming into effect from April 1, 2020. The use of fuel injection has not resulted in any power drop as the scooter is good for 8.5 HP of maximum power and 10.5 Nm of maximum torque. The silent start option with ACG starter makes no noise when the engine fires up. Not just that, the system automatically switches off the engine when a halt is detected. It starts again in no time when required, saving a lot of fuel that is wasted during city drives. The scooter comes with a front glove box that can hold the phone and help it get charged without any hassle. The exterior designing now features a different front end with chrome in the middle and chrome plating on the sides. LED position lamps, headlight, and other electrical advancements like the new console make the BS6 Activa 125 even more special for technology lovers. It now clearly reads the instantaneous fuel efficiency and distance to empty. The smart side-stand indicator disables the starting system until the rider is safe to move with the stand folded back. Moreover, everything is controlled by the single switch that houses the key. The price for the BS6-complaint Honda Activa 125 is yet to be revealed. The scooter will be available in six colours: Rebel Red Metallic, Black, Heavy Gray Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Precious White, and Majestic Brown Metallic.
