At the recent EICMA motorcycle show in Italy, Aprilia debuted its new SR GT scooter line. The new SR GT line will be available with two engine sizes: 125cc and 200cc. The SR GT will also be available in a Sport trim, which will include a more sports-oriented design and finishes. Both models in the SR GT series come standard with features like a Start/Stop system, complete LED lighting, and an LCD instrument cluster.

Moreover, as an optional addition, the APRILIA MIA connectivity system is also on offer on both of the variants. The SR GT 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 14.75 bhp of maximum power and 12 Nm of peak torque, while the SR GT 200 gets power from a 174cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 17.43 bhp and 16.5 Nm of torque.

The new SR GT line borrows aesthetic influences from Aprilia’s sports and off-road motorcycles. Both scooters have a motorcycle-style broad handlebar, long-travel suspension, greater ground clearance, and a cross-section. The scooters include a full-LED three-element light configuration, a double fairing, and a suspended windshield upfront.

There has been no statement on the Indian launch of the new SR GT line, but we do not anticipate seeing these scooters on our shores very soon.
